EMILY MC CARTHY
Introducing our new therapist-partner Emily!
In 2020, a decades-long curiosity about massage and bodywork prompted Emily to begin her journey into the field of bodywork.
Her initial training was in Swedish and holistic massage, before she went on to further her studies in Level 5 Advanced Clinical Massage with the Jing Institute in Brighton.
Emily incorporates the soothing, flowing style of Swedish and holistic massage into all of her treatments, combining this with more advanced techniques, such as direct and indirect myofascial release, trigger point therapy, deep tissue work, and more.
She has volunteered for 18 months in the NHS, and is insured to work with clients with cancer.
Bringing clients into a deeply relaxed state is a cornerstone to all of Emily’s treatments.
She believes in treating every client as an individual, and will adapt each treatment to your needs - whether you are looking to completely zone out with minimal communication; or are in search of more clinically focused work where dialogue and feedback are an important part of better understanding, and treating, your pain condition.
